Receipts that look like your brand.
rcpt helps small businesses in Nigeria and across Africa look professional and keep track of every sale. You set up your logo and details once; after that, every receipt takes about ten seconds and goes straight to your customer on WhatsApp, as a PDF, or on paper.
Why it exists
Most small businesses here sell on WhatsApp and Instagram, at a stall or from a counter. When a customer asks for a receipt, the usual answer is a bank-alert screenshot, a handwritten note or a “received, thanks” message. None of those looks professional, and none of them can be checked. rcpt makes a proper, branded receipt as quick as sending that message.
More than receipts
Receipts are where rcpt starts, because they are the moment every sale already has. Around them we are building the tools a growing business needs to run its sales:
- Today: branded receipts, QR verification, deposits and part payments, service bookings, A4 and thermal printing, and a full receipt history.
- On Pro and Business: a sales dashboard with Excel export, a product list, staff accounts, several businesses under one login, VAT receipts and bulk receipts from a spreadsheet.
- After that: an assistant that turns WhatsApp and Instagram chats into receipts for you.
Who we are
rcpt is a small team in Nigeria. We build for the vendors, shops and service businesses we buy from every day.
How a receipt can be checked
Every receipt carries a QR code and a short check code. Scanning it, or entering the code on the verify page, opens the original receipt on rcpt and shows who issued it and when. If someone edits a screenshot of a receipt, the original shows the truth.
An rcpt receipt confirms a sale that a business recorded. It is not a bank alert and does not prove that a transfer arrived. We say this plainly on our pages and in our guide to fake payment alerts.
How we handle data
- We don’t sell data and we don’t show ads.
- Analytics never include receipt contents, prices or your customers’ details.
- Paid plans are prepaid passes. Nothing renews or charges you automatically.
Details are in the privacy policy and terms.
